GENITAL AESTHETIC

Genital Aesthetics

Genital aesthetic encompasses surgical and non-surgical procedures applied to correct congenital or acquired deformities in women's genital areas and to provide functional and aesthetic improvements. Deformations occurring especially after childbirth, aging, or hormonal changes can be corrected with these operations.

What is Genital Aesthetic?

Genital aesthetic is a field of aesthetic surgery that includes various procedures such as labiaplasty (inner lip reduction), vaginoplasty (vagina tightening), clitoral hoodoplasty, perineum repair, and genital area fillers. These procedures aim to increase both aesthetic satisfaction and the quality of sexual life.

Before genital aesthetic procedures, patients should share their expectations and complaints with the physician in detail. The method to be applied, whether surgical or a non-surgical technique such as laser/filler, is decided as a result of the physician's examination. The procedure is planned individually.

  • Inner Lip (Labium Minus) Aesthetics - Labiaplasty: It is the procedure of reducing and symmetrizing the inner lips.
  • Outer Lip (Labium Majus) Filler: Volume is added to the outer lips to provide a younger and fuller appearance.
  • Vagina Tightening (Vaginoplasty): It is the surgical tightening of the vaginal canal.
  • Clitoral Hood Reduction: Excess skin on the clitoris is reduced to provide an aesthetic appearance.

Who is it suitable for?

It is suitable for women who have congenitally large or asymmetrical lip structures, experience vaginal enlargement after childbirth, or are not satisfied with their aesthetic appearance.

Who is it not recommended for?

  • Individuals with active genital infections,
  • Pregnant women or individuals who have recently given birth,
  • Those with serious systemic diseases.

What are the Advantages of Genital Aesthetics?

  • Aesthetic Appearance: Irregularities in the inner and outer lips are corrected, and a more symmetrical structure is achieved.
  • Functional Improvement: Increasing vaginal tightness has a positive effect on sexual life.
  • Ease of Hygiene: Removing excess tissue, especially in the inner lips, reduces hygiene problems.

What are the targeted results?

  • An aesthetically more symmetrical appearance,
  • Tighter vaginal canal and rejuvenated genital structure,
  • Increased self-confidence and comfortable sexual life.

Can labiaplasty and vaginoplasty be done together?
Yes. They can usually be applied in combination in the same session.

Is pain felt during the procedure?
Genital aesthetic procedures are performed under local or general anesthesia. The patient does not feel pain during the procedure.

Will the stitches be removed?
Self-dissolving stitches are used. They do not need to be removed.

Is it necessary to stay in the hospital?
Most of the time, discharge is possible on the same day. If general anesthesia was administered, a few hours of observation may be necessary.

When can I walk after the procedure?
It is possible to walk on the same day after labiaplasty or vaginoplasty. However, rest is recommended.

When can I return to work?
If you work a desk job, you can return to work within 3-5 days. For jobs requiring physical effort, a 1-week rest is recommended.

What should I pay attention to during the recovery process?
It is important to keep the area dry and clean. Antibiotics and painkillers should be used regularly, and creams recommended by the doctor should be applied.

When can I take a shower?
Usually, a shower can be taken the next day. However, soap and chemical substances should be avoided.

Will the stitches be removed?
No. Since dissolvable stitches are used, there is no need to remove stitches.

When will sexual intercourse be possible?

From the moment you first contact us before the surgery, you can receive consultation through video consultation with our patient coordinators and, if necessary, our surgeon who will perform the surgery, and by meeting face-to-face with our surgeon who will perform the surgery on the day of the operation.
Unless your doctor requests it, there is no need to have any tests done.
If you are going to have a combined surgery, you can come with your companion, enable your phone for international use, bring an F-type plug or adapter to charge your electronic devices, and you can watch our video for more information.
Since alcohol thins the blood and changes the effect of anesthesia, you should not consume alcohol for up to a week before the surgery.
To overcome the fear of surgery, get information about the process from your doctor, focus on positive thinking, apply relaxation techniques such as deep breathing and meditation, get support from your loved ones, and seek professional help from a specialist if necessary.
Our doctors apply techniques that will provide long-term permanent results with the most current and accepted techniques. However, these techniques may vary according to the patient's demands. Before the surgery, the doctor and patient mutually agree on which technique will be applied.
Patient history, patient demands, and patient visuals are needed.
Of course, you do. Our surgeon who will perform the surgery provides the final checks.
The pre-operative process begins with the patient's medical evaluation; necessary tests are performed, anesthesia approval is obtained, and the patient is informed and consent forms are signed. The surgery date is determined, and diet and medication use are regulated. After hospital admission, registration procedures are completed, the surgical area is prepared, and necessary medications are administered. Finally, the patient is transferred to the operating room, identity verification is performed, and anesthesia is administered to begin the operation.
If possible, you should come to Turkey 1 day before the surgery.
On the day of surgery, you should pay attention to the eating and drinking rules restricted by your doctor and arrive at the hospital from the hotel on time.
We ensure your personal surgical safety and privacy in accordance with international standards of patient rights and responsibilities.
Generally, 6 people are involved in surgeries: the surgeon who will perform the operation, the anesthesiologist, the anesthesia technician, 2 nurses on a rotating basis, and the operating room supervisor to ensure material supply and general order during the surgery.
To ensure the surgery takes place in a safe and hygienic environment, precautions such as sterilization, use of hygienic clothing, anesthesia safety, patient monitoring, infection prevention measures, and emergency preparedness are taken in the operating room. In addition, bleeding control is ensured during the surgery to complete the operation with minimal risk.
Of course, you will. Our surgeon who will perform the surgery provides the final checks.
Since the surgery is performed under general anesthesia, you will not be conscious.
